 The TALEGATOR is a unique addition for the tailgate of any pickup. It is made of a durable molded chemical-resistant plastic and is designed to withstand the sun as well as winter's wrath. The seat bottom is specially formed and contoured with an air pocket in the bottom to provide a comfortable seat without adding foam or a cushion.
The TALEGATOR is very light weight (approximately 6 pounds). Its full size is approximately 20" X 60" and is designed to be easily trimmed to fit a smaller size tailgate as well. Quick and easy assembly instructions are included with each part.

Joe Fournier (inventor) has experienced many uncomfortable hours sitting on the tailgate of his pickup at various sporting events with his children. A couple of years ago, he decided there had to be a better way than hauling chairs to these events. As Joe owned a tool and fixture building business, he decided to make a prototype tool to test his better seat theory. The first part he made for his truck was a real hit with all his friends and became a subject of considerable conversation and interest with all who saw this product. A common reaction was "Why did I not think of this". Joe decided this product idea was a winner and proceeded to obtain strong patent coverage and protection.
Now Joe has two business partners who share his vision and passion for producing this product for many others to enjoy. They initially plan to start marketing this product on-line followed by introduction to a number of different distributors for sale in stores.
The TaleGator is the only product of its kind on the market. It is designed to fit all pickups (with the exception of small pickup trucks such as the Ranger and S 10 Flare Side compact trucks).
Warranty Information: 12 months for any problems resulting from a manufacturing defect but will not cover parts that are abused. The defective part will need to returned to Tale Gator with shipping prepaid for our inspection before we can authorize replacement.
